In today’s world, having pets has become a popular trend. Pets are now important members of many families, especially in developed countries like Japan. This trend has led to the rise of pet friendly resorts, as more travelers want to vacation with their pets. To meet this demand, offering pet-friendly accommodations, activity areas, and services has become essential for successful resorts. In response, Glitzcamp has created 21 custom 6-meter diameter dome tents for Hamiru’s Forest Resort in Japan, in which 4 of them are specially designed for guests with their furry friends.

The dome’s frame is made up of interconnected triangular elements, which are the most stable geometric shapes. This allows the dome to evenly distribute external forces, providing strong support that helps it withstand high winds or heavy snow.
Unlike traditional tents, Glitzcamp’s dome tents are equipped with sturdy doors and durable outer materials. These features effectively block external threats. Easy to Clean and Maintain
The dome tents designed by Glitzcamp for Hamiru’s Forest are made with self-cleaning materials. The exterior is covered with heavy-duty PVC fabric that is waterproof, mold-resistant, UV-resistant, and tear-resistant. This ensures the tent remains strong and durable even with long-term use. The interior features insulation made from waterproof, mold-resistant canvas and aluminum foam. This not only provides excellent insulation but also prevents moisture from seeping in.

Raising the Tent Deck & Using Waterproof Pads
The tent deck has been elevated, and a waterproof PVC layer has been added under the tent floor. This helps prevent moisture from the ground from seeping into the tent.
Improving Ventilation
When the tent is not in use, it’s important to keep the windows and doors open to allow better airflow and reduce moisture buildup. Installing an exhaust fan is also very effective. If you’re facing similar issues, we recommend installing a solar-powered exhaust fan, which is both eco-friendly and solves the problem.
Dealing with Rainy and Damp Conditions
During the rainy season or when there’s high humidity outside, it’s best to close the doors and windows. Using a dehumidifier inside will also help reduce moisture and keep the tent dry.
Regular Cleaning and Maintenance
When the humidity is very serious and other measures are ineffective, manual cleaning and maintenance, including wiping with a dry cloth, can maintain the tent for a longer period of time.
