Case Background

Miyun District is surrounded by mountains on the east, north and west sides, and the majestic ancient Great Wall stretches over the hills. Miyun is a famous longevity town in Beijing, with more than 600 people over 90 years old. It is the most appropriate place to build livable cabin tents here.

Yishi Manor International Winery is located in Taishitun Town, northeast of Miyun District, Beijing. The manor covers an area of 1,260 acres and is located in the core of the royal garden. It is backed by Bailong Mountain, with Fenghuangling in front and facing Miyun Reservoir. Miyun has a beautiful ecological environment with mountains and water.

During the construction process, Yishi Manor tried its best to preserve the mountain’s natural features and blend into nature. It has rock wine cellars, Pinghu Pavilion, Yishi Castle, Yishi Square, Grape Corridor and other special attractions. To meet the needs of different customers, Yishi Manor has launched catering, accommodation, picking and other services. Yishi Manor is the best tourist destination for a light luxury leisure vacation. Buying a cabin tent for camping here can have a high return on investment because of the market demand.

Cabin Tents – Glitzcamp Masterpiece

Cabin tents have gradually evolved and are now made of more durable materials. They are available in a variety of styles and can be equipped with modern facilities, so the client chose this one as the winery’s residence. Glitzcamp is committed to creating the best cabin tents for customers.

Material Selection

Durable and environmentally friendly materials are used. In the past, cabin style tents mostly used wooden frames and canvas. The cabin tent corresponds to Glitzcamp safari tent series. The safari tent has the appearance of the cabin tent, but with upgraded materials considering durability and weather resistance.

Today’s cabin camping tents use 6063-T5 aluminum alloy and PVC tarpaulin. The outer fabric is mostly double-layered, which is heat-insulating and moisture-proof.
6063-T5 aluminum alloy has high tensile strength and yield strength, making it an ideal choice for manufacturing cabin tents that are both sturdy and lightweight. Aluminum itself has a high recycling rate, reducing resource consumption and environmental pollution.
PVC tarpaulin has a double-sided coating that can effectively block ultraviolet rays while giving the tarpaulin excellent waterproof performance. It is tough and not easy to wear or tear. The surface is smooth and dirt is not easy to adhere to. It can be cleaned with a simple wipe, and the maintenance cost is low.
It can withstand various weather conditions and blend into the surrounding natural landscape. The clever combination of PVC tarpaulin and wood-grain metal elements creates a warm and elegant living atmosphere.

Modern Facilities

Glitzcamp considers the comfort of customers, and each cabin tent is designed to be able to add other accessories. The exquisite modular bathroom unit includes a shower, toilet and sink. The tent is also equipped with lockers to help guests properly store clothes, luggage and other personal items. The comfortable big bed ensures that you can fall asleep after a tiring day. The air conditioner ensures your comfort all night. There are more modern facilities waiting for you to discover!

Cabin Tents Construction Challenges

Faced with the complex and changeable topographic features of the Miyun area and taking into account the characteristics of Beijing’s climate, Glitzcamp conducted in-depth research and carefully planned to ensure that the tents were stable and safe.

Climate Challenge

Beijing has a warm temperate semi-humid and semi-arid monsoon climate. The annual extreme maximum temperature is generally 35-40℃. The annual extreme minimum temperature is generally -14–20℃.
In view of its climate, the large cabin tents designed by Glitzcamp for customers can effectively resist extreme temperatures. The temperature tolerance of cabin tents is -30℃~70℃. The toughness of PVC tarpaulin is excellent and will not powder or tear.

Coping with Complex Terrain

The huge cabin tent is built on a hillside, and the terrain is rugged. So we use a deck to raise the tent itself to make its bottom flat. There is another consideration for raising the tent. The regional precipitation is between 500 and 700 mm. The raised tent can effectively prevent water from flowing into the tent or soaking the tent and causing damage.

Seasonal Adjustment

Considering the distinct four seasons in Beijing, we fully consider the changes of different seasons in the design. The sturdy frame can effectively withstand heavy snow, and insulation sheets can be installed to maintain the temperature inside the tent. In summer, you can also choose to install air conditioners, ventilation fans and other facilities to help cool down.

Summary

Glitzcamp provides customers with the best cabin tents. The upgraded materials can cope with the local climate in Beijing, and the diverse selection of facilities ensures comfortable accommodation in every season. If you also want to build a luxury accommodation hotel next to a scenic spot and are looking for an affordable solution, please do not hesitate to contact Glitzcamp.
